About Us
Anthony Cherry
Anthony started his professional career as an electrician and later, co-founded a successful process control and machinery automation company. He has worked in various industries including printing, converting, animal feed processing, food and the chemical industry.
During this time he also completed several construction projects.
It is from this background that Logic was founded, initially merging the disciplines to undertake engineering quality construction and development projects.
Now concentrating on more technically based projects, a hands-on approach and drawing on experience and knowledge gained from this varied industry background, enables Anthony to create unique products and bespoke items.

The Background Team
Due to the varied nature of our work, we utilise various sub-contractors and companies to help complete our projects. We use these in addition to our own services to ensure we can undertake larger projects successfully.
Some of the disciplines are listed below:
- Metal Fabrication
- CAD, 3D Design and Data Collation Processes
- Carpentry and Cabinet Manufacture
- Electronics and Electrical Automation
- Precision Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Construction
The Silent Team
We believe our supplier network is a crucial part of our team. This has been built up over thirty years and is as varied as the projects we have undertaken. Access to this collective wealth of experience, enables us to reliably select the best products for our requirements.
Every new project strengthens this network.
Facilities
We work from two separate locations in Lancashire; a design office in Clitheroe and a workspace nearby, in Altham. This enables us to focus on specific aspects of the process; researching and designing, or creating, when in the individual spaces. We have also designed and created an office van which allows us to function efficiently when at the workspace or out on site.
At about one thousand square feet, our workspace is small, but houses everything required to create prototypes and bespoke items. Keeping this as a clean environment, unlike a traditional engineering type workshop, enables us to produce high quality products.
Listed below is a sample of our equipment and machinery.
Engineering Machinery
- Bolton Tools milling & drilling machine with DRO
- Bolton Tools mid sized lathe with DRO
- 2500mm x 1250mm CNC engraving & cutting machine
- Cutting & finishing extraction booth
- Various other power tools and equipment
A partnership with a local engineering company enables us to access their facilities for steel cutting, welding and finishing.
Prototyping Equipment
- Raise 3D Pro Plus 3D printer
- Einstar Vega 3D scanner
- Autodesk Fusion 3D design software
- Trend Precision CNC engraving & cutting machine
- Laser engraving machine
- Precision, model making laithe
- Precision, model making milling machine
- Cutting & finishing extraction booth
- Data logging and electronics testing equipment
Investment Policy
In accordance with our investment policy, we purchase machinery or equipment as required for each project. While enabling us to consistently work efficiently and to a high standard, this also ensures that we make worthwhile investments and increase our capabilities. We also use the principles of Logic; research, design and create, to custom-build and modify our machinery, to suit our requirements.
